A conjunction of the Latin words "sono" (sound) and "noto" (write), Sonoto is an ambitious technological mobile app that allows musicians to record music from live audio and/or visual input and transcribe the data into sheet music which can then be shared and distributed. With emphasis on the elegance of its craft, Sonoto combines the classic sophistication of musical score with limitless creative freedom.
